Terms and Conditions

1. Services Provided
Sacred Beginnings LLC provides prenatal education, general wellness information, and emotional support related to pregnancy, labor, and postpartum preparation. These services are for educational and informational purposes only.

Services are provided by a Registered Nurse with experience in labor and delivery; however, all services are offered in a non-clinical, educational, and consulting capacity only. No medical care, assessment, diagnosis, or treatment is provided.
 

2. No Medical Advice or Provider Relationship
The information provided does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not a substitute for care from a licensed physician, midwife, or other qualified healthcare provider.

Participation in services does not establish a nurse-patient, provider-patient, or fiduciary relationship, and does not create any clinical duty of care. Sacred Beginnings LLC and its representatives are not acting as your healthcare provider.
 

3. Client Responsibilities
By participating in services, the client agrees that:
• All health-related decisions are their sole responsibility
• They will consult their physician, midwife, or qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns
• They will seek immediate medical attention in the event of an emergency

Sacred Beginnings LLC does not provide emergency services.
 

4. Assumption of Risk
The client understands that pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum experiences involve inherent risks. By participating in services, the client voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any decisions, actions, and outcomes.
 

5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Maryland law, Sacred Beginnings LLC, its owner, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
• Participation in services
• Reliance on information provided
• Decisions made by the client
 

6. Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sacred Beginnings LLC, its owner, and representatives from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in services.
 

7. Confidentiality
Sacred Beginnings LLC respects client privacy and takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information.

All client information will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, except where required by law. However, services are provided in a non-clinical setting and may not be subject to medical privacy laws such as HIPAA.
 

8. Virtual Services Disclaimer
The client understands that virtual services have limitations, including but not limited to:
• Inability to perform physical assessments
• Inability to monitor medical conditions
• Reliance on client-reported information
 

9. Technology and Third-Party Platforms
Services may be delivered using third-party platforms (such as video conferencing tools, payment processors, and communication services). Sacred Beginnings LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices, technical failures, or security of these third-party services.
 

10. Scheduling, Cancellation, and Missed Appointments
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost
• Failure to attend a scheduled session (“no-show”) will result in a missed appointment fee of 100% of the session cost

These fees are intended to compensate for reserved time that could not be filled and are not punitive in nature.
 

11. Payment & Fee Authorization
All fees, including service fees, cancellation fees, and missed appointment fees, are clearly disclosed prior to booking.

By booking services, the client:
• Agrees to all fees outlined in this agreement
• Authorizes Sacred Beginnings LLC to charge the payment method on file for scheduled services, late cancellations, or missed appointments
 

12. Refund Policy
All services are non-refundable once rendered. If a session is missed without proper notice, the missed appointment policy applies.

Packages, prepaid sessions, or bundled services (if applicable) are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
 

13. Voluntary Participation
Participation in services is voluntary. The client may discontinue services at any time; however, all applicable fees still apply.
 

14. Scope of Support
Support outside of scheduled sessions is not guaranteed and may be limited.
 

15. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland.
 

16. Severability
If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
 

17. Modification of Terms
Sacred Beginnings LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be effective upon posting or upon client notification.
 

18. Acknowledgment and Consent
By signing below, the client acknowledges that they have:
• Read and understood this agreement
• Had the opportunity to ask questions
• Agreed to all terms and conditions outlined above
